The staff in each store choose their own uniforms, merchandise the stores and are actively encouraged to make suggestions on what styles they want to see and how their branch could be run more effectively.

West One is very keen on internal promotion and many employees have, over the years, made it from sales staff all the way to the higher ranks of management.

Every employee at West One is given detailed training on different areas of the business including sales, security, merchandising and of course customer service.

We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential, so if you’re willing to learn we’re willing to teach you. You can get involved in visual merchandising, window dressing, cashing up procedures and staffing.

We run various competitions and bonus schemes throughout the year with prizes ranging from bottles of champagne and boxes of chocolates to gift vouchers and cash bonuses.

All our staff are entitled to a 35% uncapped staff discount on everything in the shop (excluding sale stock) from shoes and jewellry to clothes, bags and coats. Best of all as a thank you this uncapped bonus rises to 50%when you have been with us for 18 months!!!!

West One is looking for people who have real skills that we can nurture and develop. If you have a degree or some fashion qualifications great but here it is not required. Our recruitment is based on the skills and potential you either have or could acquire.
